Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pricing Executive – Freight Forwarding to manage and control freight rates, prepare competitive quotations, and support the sales and operations teams. The role requires strong analytical skills, market awareness, and coordination with carriers, agents, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare freight quotations for air, ocean (FCL/LCL), and inland transportation
•Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents to obtain competitive rates
•Maintain and update rate sheets and contracts
•Support sales team with pricing strategies and margin analysis
•Ensure accurate costing including freight, surcharges, customs, and local charges
•Monitor market trends, carrier rate changes, and competitor pricing
•Negotiate rates with vendors to improve profitability
•Ensure pricing complies with company policies and customer requirements
•Maintain pricing data in CRM / ERP systems
•Respond promptly to pricing requests and RFQs
•Assist in tenders and contract pricing for key accounts
Required Qualifications & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
•2–5 years of experience in pricing or commercial role within freight forwarding
•Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, Incoterms, and shipping documentation
•Experience handling RFQs and contract rates
•Good analytical and numerical skills
•Proficiency in MS Excel and Office tools
•Strong communication and negotiation skills
